When I look back at projects, it makes me so happy, because overall, I do feel like they stand the test of time style-wise and still are just as beautiful today. This was one of my first projects in the Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg.

COLOR ME TRADITIONAL - LISA GILMORE DESIGN PROJECT
We have had a very busy spring and summer season here at LGDesign! We have been cooking up lots of really great design projects - so our fall and winter is really shaping up to be a season of many installs on the calendar. One of our residential renovation projects that we have been working on is a great transformation for a lovely ranch house.
This home will have a very timeless elegant feel - but let that not mislead you, nothing about this home will be boring or ordinary! We have been selecting many beautiful furniture pieces featuring clean lines and delicate curves, to be paired with an array of color and pattern, creating a very lively home to spark nothing but joy and sunny happiness!

Layering multiple patterns: incorporating the use of different patterns and scales keeps the environment stimulating and detailed.
Nostalgic furniture: Using furniture that is older and restyle combined with newer pieces give this space a timeless approach and keeps it from being dated.
Fashion influences: think tailored and refined, but popped up a notch with statement necklace or a fun pattern on a blazer.
Floral!: always fresh, guaranteed to bring a smile and pairs well with other patterns, you are going to find a lot of floral intertwined throughout this house - and we couldn’t be more excited!

Alright guys. So apparently this whole Big Green Egg is a big deal. Like, a real big deal. So big of a deal, that we designed a new outdoor living space... around the Big Green Egg. It really made for a fun project. The homeowners have a beautiful home that they built roughly seven years ago, they entertain a lot and wanted to maximize that space and really update it, and really the husbands only priority was to fit in the egg.
So we got to work.
We collaborated with Olde World Cabinetry on this project, using the best finishes available for this outdoor space.
Here are a few images of the space before, so you can see what we were working with.
We all got to work, reconfiguring the cabinetry, designing a beautiful custom hood, picking finishes and furniture.
We thought it would be best to tile the back wall of the outdoor kitchen in a beautiful glass tile, from counter to ceiling. It really brought such a grand feeling to the space. Plus it sparkled when the light hit it.
I mentioned the glass backsplash tile has a certain sparkle to it, right? Yeah. It does. It's pretty. We love it.
... and this chandelier. It's so simple, yet so stunning.
Some other elements include a sweet little daybed by the outdoor fireplace and other little nooks that include a fire pit. We had a lot of fun mixing and matching some lovely fabrics to add some interest to the space.
This project turned out to be a really lovely space, monochromatic, classic and very functional. We just know that they will enjoy it for many years to come!
